Swathi Vanaja Chandrasekharan, Ph.D.

Swathi completed her BSc in Chemistry from Nirmalagiri College (Kannur University). After that, she joined the integrated PhD program in chemistry at IISER-Thiruvananthapuram. Her PhD thesis focused on design, synthesis and self-assembly of tetraphenylethylene-based systems and its applications in bio-imaging and as fluorescent nanomaterials. Her research expertise is in organic synthesis and instrumental analysis. Outside lab, Swathi uses her spare time for bike-riding, traveling and exploring new things. Her life moto is 'be kind'.
