Firdaus ("Tanya") Ahmed
Current position: PhD student at Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, Germany
Tanya spent two years (between 2021 August -2023 Nov.) as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with us. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, Freiburg, Germany.
Tanya received her bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Culcutta. Subsequently, she has completed her post-graduation in Chemical and molecular biology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and IACS Kolkata in 2021. Her broad research interests span across cancer biology, cell biology, neurobiology, and immunology. In her spare time, she likes to engage in sketching, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
